Demonstrations in different parts of the country, police threw tearshells and sound grenades in Khulna-Sylhet, thousands of protesters at Shaheed Minar.
On Friday too, students, parents and cultural activists were seen forming human chains and marching in different places of the capital. While students are protesting the killings, torture and arrests, parents are also demanding the safety of their children. Meanwhile, the six coordinators of the anti-discrimination student movement said that while in the custody of the Intelligence Division (DB) of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police, they did not voluntarily announce the withdrawal of the movement in a video message.
